About Me

"Heavy is the head that wears the crown, until you remember it was made for you."

Hi! I’m September Dohrmann, and here’s a little bit about my journey:

First and foremost I’m a mom.

Motherhood cracked me open in ways I never anticipated. It taught me to lead with presence instead of perfection… to listen more deeply, live more slowly, and honor the unseen layers of life. My sons—Daniel and Preston—were my first true teachers in leadership. Raising them shaped me just as much as I shaped them, revealing what it truly means to lead with both grace and grit.

Most of my life I’ve walked two parallel paths: Deep Personal Healing and Entrepreneurial Leadership and Development. One taught me how to feel; the other taught me how to build.

For a time, they felt separate—like I had to choose between my inner truth and outer success. But the further I went, the clearer it became: they were never meant to be separate.

Deep Personal Healing

Through years of inner work and embodied experience, I found my way back to my true-self. The one beneath the roles, the pressure, and the performances.

For over three decades, I’ve walked the terrain of emotional healing, nervous system integration, and spiritual awakening. I know firsthand what it means to unravel, and to feel the sacred discomfort of confronting my own shadows—and the quiet power of coming home to myself afterward.

The process of personal transformation is not linear. It’s cyclical, cellular, and sacred. It requires a level of devotion that goes beyond tools or techniques.

This work is what lights me up the most because I get to help people really see themselves as I guide them in alchemizing pain into power, and in doing so, I witness something extraordinary: they begin to remember who they are, and as they heal the parts of themselves that had forgotten their sovereign worth, everything in their life starts to rise to match their reclaimed identity. Watching that transformation unfold feels like pure magic to me.

Entrepreneurial Leadership and Development

As for business, that’s in my DNA. I was raised by entrepreneurs on both sides of my family;  I’ve never really known the life of an employee. Ownership, leadership, and vision were the languages spoken in our homes. I understand the reality of being a business owner and an entrepreneur because I’ve lived it my entire life.

CEO Space International

Since 2007, I’ve had the privilege of serving within CEO Space International—a global entrepreneur development community founded by my late husband, Berny Dohrmann, in 1991. For decades, CEO Space has helped thousands of business owners navigate the complexity of growth, leadership, and innovation.

DesignShop®

My time at CEO Space showed me something really powerful: even in the most supportive environments, there are moments when advice isn’t enough. I became passionate about creating spaces where people could access their own answers—not just be given them.

That search led me to the DesignShop® methodology—a strategic facilitation process that has driven breakthrough results for 55% of the Fortune companies over the past 40 years. DesignShop delivers a way of tapping into the collective intelligence of an organization and aligning vision, insight, and execution to create real, lasting transformation.

The Most Important Conversations (TMIC)

Alongside my business partner, Chad Lefevre, we co-founded TMIC—which, for me, is a personal playground for high-level business and global transformation.

TMIC is where the DesignShop® methodology has been reimagined and made accessible to businesses of all sizes. It’s a space where ontological principles, strategic facilitation, and collective intelligence converge—bringing the most important conversations humanity needs to be having into real, embodied action.

From global, social, and cultural shifts to enterprise breakthroughs, TMIC exists to move ideas that really matter into reality—all by design.

How it all comes together

At the heart of all my work—whether I’m guiding a business owner, or an entire company through strategic realignment, or walking alongside someone in deep personal transformation—is one core truth:

When you remember who you are, everything around you begins to reorganize to that clarity.

True leadership doesn’t just happen because you hold a title. It begins with your clear identity—rooted, remembered, and reclaimed. Because when you know who you are, you know how to lead.

I’m not here to hand you answers. I’m here to help you access the ones you’ve always carried.

If you’re seeking alignment in your company, your being, or both—I’d be honored to walk with you.
